I love SOLA. Being warmly greeted and served their awesome delectable food with a smile and attention is worth my review because this establishment is amazing! I live walking distance and have been here twice in three days and it definitely shows their consistency in their food and service! I will always look forward to dining here! The beet salad was plentiful and satisfied my craving for beets served with a citrusy- vinaigrette dressing - i ate it all! Clam chowder so warm and delicious with the right ratio of potatoes and not salty- loved that! The wings brought it all together for me so tasty and tender. My bf enjoyed his cheeseburger with a thick juicy burger with lettuce tomato and a request for the raw onions- perfect meal for us both we left smiling and satisfied! I can't wait to return!

I can't say enough about this place and I'm trying very hard not to gush. But when you have a cocktail named 'An Italian, a Frenchman and a Filipino Walk Into a Bar' and there's calamansi juice in it--game over. Pretty and refreshing, I could've downed another two. Their lime Sriracha wings were amazing and the burger with blue cheese crumbles, equally delicious served with the crunchiest, most well seasoned fries I've had in a long time. Props to our cute and friendly server, Bee. She said "like Bumble" and because I'm old and crusty, I wanted to say, "like Aunt."

Food is great! Better than your average alehouse food, everything is always cooked to perfection. I love their deviled eggs and brussel sprouts to start. The smoked brisket nachos (picture not included) is also very good. Can't go wrong with any item on the menu and their drinks are well thought out and tasty. Perfect for a date night or catch up with your friends. Bar is open seating and the bartenders are friendly. Highly recommend SOLA

Positive energy. It's not that bright. incredibly roomy and tidy. Maddie helped us grab a booth because they weren't overly crowded when we arrived! The drinks arrived promptly, and she was a superb waitress. The starter of mac & cheese and ribs was the ideal way to kick off a fantastic evening! Thank you, Maddie !

Loved this place! Called ahead to check if the restaurant was busy at 5:30p for a party of 2, and the hostess reserved a table for us just in case. After we arrived, there was a booth that opened up 10 minutes after we were seated and the same hostess was so kind to ask if we wanted the big comfy booth, reassuring us we'd still be seated in our server's section. She was really considerate and gave great food recommendations. Cocktails were fabulous, with a limited time holiday special list. They also were able to make delicious drinks mocktail version upon request and charged a very reasonable $6 ea for those! Beer list on tap is also so solid, there's a big board above the bar you can view for what they are featuring w/ prices and ABV listed out. We had a great time catching up over a couple rounds of drinks and shared a big plate of brisket nachos to snack on. Portion size was huge, the brisket was VERY tender and all the toppings on the nachos went well together. It was a great experience -- lovely relaxed evening out in a warm festive setting without being too loud. It was just right! Will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area.

Let me start by saying that we will go back and dine when it is not Holiday Party season. On their website they describe themselves as a "upscale, stylishly casual tavern." Hmmm. We dressed in "business casual" as they suggested. Well, they might want think about adopting the theory of under promising and over delivering with their marketing efforts. Is sweat pants, hoodie and a do-rag business casual? Maybe today it is. Are 8 raucous women loudly hooting and hollering with abandon and doing shots upscale and stylish? Maybe today it is. Since management did not see any of this as an issue to quietly address, one must assume that Sons of Liberty Alehouse, in reality, is simply a bar with food. Period. Upscale and stylish is only reflected in the price you pay to be there. The food. For us, not too bad is the best we can offer. I had the fish and chips and I liked the way it was cooked and the beer battered breading. But instead of putting on a separate plate or portion of a plate it was placed on massive plate of greasy French fries. There were so many potatoes on the plate that when you tried to cut into the fish, potatoes slid off all sides of the plate including onto your business casual pants and onto the table. This was totally avoidable if the plate was not loaded with more potatoes than anyone could possibly eat. This is simple kitchen management. My wife's fish tacos. Not impressive. She ended eating the taco filling with a fork as the tortillas were too oily and soft. But she did like the filling ingredients. She loved her NoHito with plenty of mint and lime. My Sauvignon Blanc was tasty as well. Since this is an alehouse I asked for a pint of Guinness to go with my fish and chips. It was not available. That's okay but there was nothing comparable in a local brew. Just the trendy brews that are upscale and stylish today. That's okay. You gotta serve what sells. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and decided to experience the Holiday Party ambiance as entertainment. And let's not forget the excellent service. Selena was attentive and since my wife mentioned that this my birthday dinner, she brought out a brownie topped with ice cream and candle, compliments of the house. It was delicious. So we'll go back and try this again. It's obvious they aspire to excellence and we like that attitude.

This is definitely a solid 4.5. The .5 off was for the fact no one was around the front to greet my wife and I. We were not sure if we should stand and wait or seat ourselves. We ended up sitting at a bar top table, knowing that bar seating is typically first come first serve. The place was crowded (8/9pm ish) The service once we sat down was spot on and staff was very friendly. The bartender/our sever was very informative and provided suggestions upon request. I had a Fireside cocktail it was good, but a little smokey for me. I let the bartender know when he came to the table and he explained what ingredients provided which flavor in the beverage. It was nice to see someone with passion for their work. Next drink I had was an old fashion that was really good. My wife had the pink lady, which she enjoyed. For our dinner/apps we had duck carnitas tacos (I tried to take a photo, but I ate it sooo fast) which were delicious! We ordered the wedge salad (enough and deviled eggs. The deviled eggs were so good we ended up getting two orders. After those items we were stuffed and didn't have any room for dessert. I'll be back soon.

Had a lunch meet up with some friends coming from around the Bay Area and this was a great place to meet up. Although if you're not from the area, this is in a large shopping area and may not be easy to find. Note that this is in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. We were seated outside and the service was prompt and very good initially--there was an occasion that we had to follow up on parts of our orders. Not sure if that was due to absent mindedness or short-staffed, this was a weekday lunch service. I ordered the beer battered fish and chips and it was really delicious...the batter on the fish and the chips were crisp and no greasy after taste. It was even more delicious with the malt vinegar, which you must ask for. We ordered the heirloom tomato bruschetta starter and it was so good--the balsamic vinegar drizzle was quite nice, a bit sweet and a little vinegary tang. I would not hesitate in returning if I am in the area again.
